Daddy Issues"Order a drink and come stand over here," Everin said firmly to Jes. To emphasize his words, he gripped the young man's sleeve tightly and pulled him over to the counter. The aim was for the other to take up a casual stance beside him so they could observe.   
The younger man gave a confused look Everin's way. "But... we got what we needed." Despite the statement, he gestured to the tender of the bar to pour him something just as Everin slid a few coins across the bar to pay for it. "Why are we staying?" Jes questioned. "Somebody could catch us."

That's Not AllA hand ran through peppered black hair before resting on a finely crafted hilt swaying at his hip. Blood is ThickerThere was silence for a long moment where the two men stood. One watched the other quite intently, though the man being scrutinized was more occupied with wrapping a soft linen bandage around his bicep.   
“That was too close” the first man reprimanded in even tones, shaking his head slowly and causing a tightly bound braid to sweep across his back like a soft pendulum. “You should not be so careless.”   
The injured man responded with a distant harrumph. “You didn’t have to come after me. I would have been just fine on my own” he grated out with an undertone of vehemence.

So I did... NOTHING of what I intended to do since my last journal XD

With NaNoWriMo coming up I will probably be focusing more on my lj because that's where my chapters (The ones that I sometimes rarely actually write) go up. Speaking of which, I actually need to START writing something for good ol' NanNo. What I have so far sounds like a formal paper.

So my obsession will be actually putting some effort into NaNo this year witht he first novel to a supernatural gothic series. Wish me luck! (I'll need it) It's going to be difficult though only having one familiar and well developed character to work off of :\

Maybe I should switch to a different story before it's too late? D:
